Chow Mein is one of the secret bosses in Dragon Quest 4. He is found deep underground along with Foo Yung. They are always seen having an argument about which is better: chickens or eggs? He is a strong boss with the ability to attack twice per turn and muster his attack. He can also use feathers to protect himself, and can defend very strongly. He and Foo Yung must be defeated several times to obtain the Pandemonic Equipment, among other rewards.
