Noris Van Helsing was the father of Eric Van Helsing and grandfather of Jonathan Van Helsing, as well as being a vampire slayer and member of the Van Helsing Family. His portrait hung in the Van Helsing Slayer HQ, until Eric was thrown out of the Slayer's Guild and it was removed. It is mentioned by Jonathan that he died aged 39½.
