Kovans are a race of space-faring people from planet Kova in Kovan Sector. Kovans have developed Amanjaro, a Tevis Class cargo freighter, and its engine Quantum Fusion Reactor. Kovans also use sabres still, as evident from the broken blade that Riddick was using in his Long Tooth shiv.
