Every Hoods the Same, Vol. 1 is a mixtape hosted and featuring, Ice Cube and mixed by "The Colorado Mix Tape King" DJ Bedz. Ice Cube agreed to the release of the mixtape to promote his album Laugh Now, Cry Later. Every Hoods the Same, Vol. 1 contained songs from his early studio albums, as well as songs from his days with N.W.A, Da Lench Mob and Westside Connection.
