Paths of Enlightenment Altered By Joseph Carriker (oakthorne@hotmail.com) Author's Notes I picked up Kindred of the East a while back. One of the most elegant things about the system (IMO) was the way Dharmic Paths were handled. Basically, I feel that they make more sense. I mean, I fail to see how the day-to-day life of a vampire (in which he gains XPs) takes him further from the Beast. In fact, most of the time, it should detract from the character's enlightenment.
