The M423 Sentry Gun is an automated six-barreled rotary gun that fires 9.5x40mm rounds at a rate of 150 rounds per second. It is primarily a stationary weapon used for fortifying and/or securing a location. However, recent retro-fittings have shown that it can be used on heavy vehicles like the M908 Heavy Tank.
