1905-1 April 1970, Obituary in The Times 2 April 1970 A local politician in the Fulham area. He was Mayor of Fulham in 1952-53. Vice Chairman London County Council 1953 – 1954. He was later an alderman on the Greater London Council. He died suddenly while campaigning for election to the GLC. A park in Hammersmith was named after him in 1975.
