Tamonten is an ability granted by the Mangekyō Sharingan. It can only be unlocked by Mangekyō Sharingan wielders who are half-Uchiha, or less, though after a certain depletion of Uchiha blood, it becomes impossible to get the Sharingan, let alone the Mangekyō. It creates a gigantic, angelic being that surrounds and protects the user, similar to the Susanoo. Like the other techniques granted by the Mangekyō Sharingan, the user's eyes are strained, as well as their body, due to it's large chakra consumption, though it consumes less than the other techniques. Washi's Tamonten is capable of manifesting a sword made completely of chakra, which has the ability to completely slice through a large group of enemies, and appears to utilize Wind based chakra.
