The Alliance was the name given to the combined forces of the Empire-in-exile, the New Jedi Order, and the Galactic Alliance Remnant, who allied in 137 ABY in order to bring down Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire. Its members reorganized themselves as the Galactic Federation Triumvirate after they won the war.
