The Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) is a regional Caribbean based institution in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. The Caribbean Court of Justice was created in 2003 out of necessity, as part of the 2001 Revised Treaty of Chaguaramas(Treaty, Location) of the Caribbean Community. The treaty is a instrument for the establishment of the Caribbean (CARICOM) Single Market and Economy (CSME) and was signed by the CARICOM heads of government. The Caribbean Court of Justice within the next two years will serve two main roles.
