TinCan was a social networking site created by Theo Daniels at the behest of Wolfram & Hart. Though on the surface it was simply a Facebook-esque social network for demons who were stranded on Earth or other dimensions by the end of magic, W&H had arranged for a special code to be inserted within TinCan to keep portals to other dimensions open despite the destruction of the Seed of Wonder. TinCan was operated from several different Hell dimensions and operated on demonic technology rather than an actual magic spell, thus leaving it unaffected by the destruction of the Seed.
