The Halfturret is a special weapon system used by the cyborg Space Pirate, Weavel, as an "alternate form" similar to Samus's Morph Ball. When activated, his robotic body splits at the waist and the lower bo dy transforms into an autoturret armed with a Battlehammer. In this form, Weavel walks on his hands and attacks by turning somersaults, slashing with wrist-mounted blades in doing so. Both Weavel and the Halfturret share half of Weavel's current Energy each, so a good strategy would be to destroy the turret to force Weavel back to his normal form, effectively weakening him in doing so.
