The Seck Resurgence was an event that served as the main conflict of Dungeon Siege. It refers to the escape of the Seck from the Vault of Eternity beneath Castle Ehb following the disappearance of Merik, and the theft of the Staff of Stars by Goblins in the year 1144. A simple farmer rose up to protect the kingdom of Ehb from the various troubles that arose as a result of this event.
