The Vagan begin their invasion of Earth by trying to capture Nortrum, one of the Earth Federation's major production bases. The Earth Federation Forces are waiting for the approaching Vagan fleet with a secret weapon in their arsenal. During the battle, Asemu Asuno begins dueling with Desil Galette, but is captured by two X-Rounder mobile suits under his control. Woolf Enneacle saves him, but is subsequently killed, after which Asemu proceeds to completely outclass Desil and kill him.
