The Titans and AEUG both send complements of mobile suits down to Jaburo. Kamille descends on a delta-shaped "sled" while the other MS's have hemispherical cloth shields. Kacricon attempts to take out Kamille on re-entry but falls too far too fast, causing the emergency deployment of his shield while he is in a rather vulnerable position. Kamille descends past him in close enough proximity to have the stream of superheated air coming off of the tip of his sled's wing tear apart Kacricon's atmospheric shield, causing him to burn up. As he dies, Kacricon cries out the name of his girlfriend. Jerid witnesses the event and is distraught.
