Scere Ceibrolta was a food-borne illness that could be contracted by several humanoid species, though not humans. It was first discovered in the Pallis sector of the Inner Rim Territories in 410 BBY. It disappeared and reappeared several times after that and, if left untreated, would paralyze or kill its victim. A mysterious outbreak occurred on the University of Alderaan campus in 0 BBY. Student Yemorro Nen, was sent home to Delaya to recover after getting the illness. Imperial researchers attempted to develop a deadlier airborne strain but the project was destroyed by an Ogemite Rebel spy named Raki-Shaw Muituva.
