The TRAC-5 is the Terran Republic's standard issue Carbine. Equipped with a relatively fast fire rate, especially compared to other faction's standard carbines, the TRAC-5 can lay down a surprisingly large amount of suppression for its class. The TRAC-5 follows the Terran Republic's general faction trait, using a large magazine with a high maximum ammo capacity available. In exchange for these traits, however, the TRAC-5 pays with a low accuracy in both hipfire and aimed fire, as well as a harsh 2 damage tier fall-off, which is generally not found on weapons in the Terran Arsenal.
