HMS Courageous was the lead ship of the eponymous class of light cruisers of the Royal Manticoran Navy. The ship was commissioned in the early 1800s PD. (HH1) A fictionalized HMS Courageous is the second playable ship in the game, Tales of Honor: The Secret Fleet. This may suggest that she was still in service in 1903, around the time of the first main series novels.
