Grungarian Shield Barriers were barriers designed by Grungarians to cordon off areas to prevent intruders from entering. These barriers were unaffected by "small arms" fire (i.e. any gun Ratchet, Clank, or Qwark could carry), but they heavily relied upon Grungarian Generators to supply them with energy. If their generator was destroyed, the barrier would deactivate.
