In that year it began the age of exploration. These explorations would result in colonies and one day new countries. The mother countries of these colonies did not take good care of their colonies. They taxed them heavily and never took the care to raise the status of these shabby towns in the americas and Pacific. This resulted in revolutions and in some cases the destruction of the power of the mother country. But, what if the Mother countries had raised these colonies to a kingdom status, like Portugal did to Brasil in OTL.
