A Contest Idol (Japanese: アイドル コンテスト) is a Pokémon Trainer who presides over a Contest Hall. Contest Idols appear after a Trainer wins the first three rankings of each respective hall, and compete in the Master Rank Contest. If they win, Trainers must battle the Contest Idol in a Contest Battle to earn the Master Rank Ribbon.
