This is a list of universities in Rhodesia, of which there are 26. This list includes the 5 schools of technology, which hold official university status, but usually focus on natural science rather than the full academic spectrum. Six of the twenty six universities of Rhodesia are included among the top 250 universities around the world. In general, universities which receive public endowments from the national government do not charge tuition fees to either domestic or foreign students.
