In the mirror universe, the Consul of the Terran Republic was the head of state and head of government of the short-lived Terran Republic from 2293 to 2295. The Consul of the Terran Republic was a member of the Legislature of the Terran Republic chosen by that body to serve as head of state and government for a period of four years. The first and only Consul of the Terran Republic was Spock. The office, like the Republic, was dissolved in 2295 upon conquest by the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance. (TOS novel: The Sorrows of Empire)
