Grandmama is the grand-matriarch of the Addams Family. There is much ambiguity as to whether Grandmama is Gomez or Morticia's mother and even they seem to be unclear at times. Grandmama is called in by the rest of the family when they either suspect supernatural-activity behind a problem or just encounter something that leaves them stumped as she is both old and well traveled. It has been established that Grandmama has been around since Medieval times but how old she is exactly is anyone's guess. Grandmama is an expert cook and alchemists, although she does frequently get the two hobbies mixed up. Grandmama is also a practicing witch though her senility has lead to her spells often fizzling.
