"Infidels" (literally "one without faith") is a term used by people of some faiths to refer those who reject the beliefs of that faith. In some religions being an infidel can be dangerous. Muslim extremists who bring about the death of innocent victims often do so after calling them "infidels", a label taken to justify the action of killing.
