This aircraft was a one-off amphibious conversion that featured pontoon undercarriage with retractable wheels built into it. It was impressed into military service as a UC-43G in 1942 and damaged beyond repair less than 6 months later in an accident at Bridgeport Connecticut on 25 September 1942.
