Thomas Edward Lawrence was a British military officer and diplomat that lived from August 16, 1888, to May 19, 1935. He was known for his liaison role during the Sinai and Palestine campaign and the Arab Revolt against the Ottoman Empire during World War I. His activities earned him the title of Lawrence of Arabia. Lawrence is featured in the Battlefield 1 singleplayer campaign, appearing as a character and narrator in the fifth and final mission Nothing is Written.
