Amos Van Pelt is the father of CBI Agent Grace Van Pelt and according to his daughter Grace, he is a football coach. He trains Tenessee football team and Craig O'Laughlin was a member of the team during his youngest age. He is mentioned throughout the series briefly, but has never been seen.
