The Scavengers are a group of humans who hide in the ruins of New York City underneath Ultra City following Ultron's takeover of the continent. They were formed by former Avengers member Clint Barton after the death of his teammates. After his death they were lead by his son Francis Barton who took on his father's name of Hawkeye. Betty Ross was also a part of the group. When the children of the Avengers arrived in the city they helped them escape and then save the life of Iron Man. They saved the group from Ultron and the converted Iron Avengers. They stayed in the city while Francis and Betty went to the desert to recruit the Hulk. After Ultron's defeat, they presumably helped the Avengers ride the world of Ultron's machines.
