The USS Seaview was a 24th century Federation starship operated by Starfleet. Daniel Kwan was assigned on stardate 45983.6 to this ship, which was named on his personnel file. (TNG: "Eye of the Beholder" , okudagram) This starship was only mentioned in writing. While the ship might be named after one of the locations on Earth called "Seaview", e.g., in New Zealand, the most popular use of the term was the fictitious atomic submarine USOS Seaview of the 1960s motion picture and subsequent television series Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.
