The user is able to project up to three copies of themselves into the Astral Plane, allowing these projections to interact with corporal bodies of others and are quite fast, being as fast as Dan when using the Spirit Transformation Technique, as well as interact directly with souls. These projections are referred to as Astra. Although Sage Mode users are able to sense them, these astras can bypass the autonomous defense it offers. By gaining complete mastery over the kekkei genkai, the user is able to project up to twelve astras at once.
