Kivaroa were large, five meter-tall, slick-skinned creatures with eight legs. They were able to be ridden by native Tsevukans on the planet Tsevuka. Around 11 years before the Battle of Yavin, a group of Tsevukans ambushed Grand Moff Tarkin's transport while on a tour. The Grand Moff was able to drive the transport before the kivaroa were driven off.
