Bog Goblins are a hideous breed of water-dwelling goblins with frog-like traits that reside in Brackish Bog. In "Calling Dr. Smurf", Dabbler as Doctor Smurf went to Brackish Bog to find some swamp root to cure the "ill" Smurfs infected with the Spotted Pink Plague. When he acquired the root, an orange Bog Goblin quickly appeared from the depths and began pursuing Dabbler Smurf and the other Smurfs who arrived and chased them until they were washed into a cave. In "Hefty's Rival", a Bog Goblin tried to eat Hefty Smurf, but fortunately he was saved thanks to some quick thinking from Wild Smurf.
