The brace can have a maximum of 3 charges. Each game will use up one charge, and after all charges are gone it will be destroyed. The number of charges remaining is displayed in brackets in the item name. It currently costs about coins for each use of a castle wars brace. If the player sells the bracelet with one charge on the Grand Exchange, coins could, in theory, be gained. Players can create this item by casting Enchant Level 2 Jewellery on an emerald bracelet.
