The Gentle Lunatic EP is the first extended play (EP) and the second release overall of Ambient music artist The Silent Boy that was release through Bandcamp on June 13, 2011. It catalogs the emotional journey of Ophelia from Shakespeare's Hamlet'. It was a quite different than its predecessor, Mother Songs, and employed more electronic and experimental sounds, along with it being a wholly instrumental release.
