Corporal Naka Tormak was a female Bajoran in the 24th century. During the Cardassian occupation of Bajor Naka was a member of the Bajoran Resistance, she was captured by the Cardassians and taken to the mining moon Davonia where she worked as a slave labourer. She and around fifty other resistance members continued to live out their lives in Cardassian captivity even after Bajor had been liberated until 2370 when they were rescued by a team from Deep Space 9. Naka's first act upon being liberated was to smash the skull of one of the Cardassian guards with a rock, in revenge for his repeated rapes. (DS9 novel: Devil in the Sky)
