Antony Byrne (born 1969 in Newcastle) appeared on Coronation Street in March 2012 as DS Nash, one of the police officers investigating the murder of Frank Foster. His other credits include roles in Heartbeat, Spender, Touching Evil, Casualty, The Bill, The Royal, Midsomer Murders, Emmerdale, Silent Witness, Vera and Doctors, whilst on stage he has appeared in productions including Scene From Chekov, As You Like It, Macbeth, Blood Wedding, Jane Eyre, The Tempest, Rutherford and Son, Henry VIII, Wuthering Heights and On The Waterfront.
