An organic mimic cyberstructure, also called a fully organic mimic cyberstructure, full mimic, or OMC, is an accurate robotic representation of a living being that is life-like outwardly and inwardly to great degrees. It is more complex than a sophisticated droid chassis, often covered with synthetic or cloned skin and containing functional organs that are composed of synthetic (and often reinforced) biological fibers. The skeletal structure can be made of special alloys and polymers to mimic bone. It is typically designed to be used as either a cybernetic replacement for an organic body, or a convincing duplicate. The design is usually internally realistic enough to fool high-quality medical scanners, as well as being outwardly identical to a living being. As with POMCs, they are sometim
