An inciter was a device which jump-started a landspeeder's motor by sliding the device under the speeder's readout panel. In 19 ABY, the Mistryl Shadow Guard Karoly D'ulin used a Mistryl-issue inciter to commandeer several landspeeders while following Captain Zothip of the Cavrilhu Pirates on Bastion, including a heavily damaged Ubrikkian 9000 and a Slipter.
