Arlene Golonka (born January 23, 1936) made a guest appearance on M*A*S*H as Lieutenant Edwina Ferguson, a shy new nurse who the surgeons, Hawkeye and Trapper, try to "de-flower" in the Season 1 episode "Edwina". She is perhaps best known for playing Millie Swanson on the television comedies The Andy Griffith Show and Mayberry R.F.D., and often portrayed bubbly, eccentric blondes in supporting character roles on stage, film, and television.
