The cult of the Gentle Mother became popular around the middle of the third century of the Human Era and reached the height of its popularity in the fourth century. The cult taught that women were delicate souls who shouldn't be fighting. Lionel of Trebond was one of its supporters, telling Rebakah Cooper and Clara Goodwin that they had been coarsened by all the fighting and didn't realize the tenderness of their souls anymore. When the cult was at the height of its popularity it managed--together with other tendencies--to have lady knights banned. The cult was first mentioned in Bloodhound.
