Issei Hyoudou is the main protagonist of Highschool DxD, as well as the fanfiction story, Highschool DxD: Rise of the Solar God. Unlike the original Issei Hyoudou, this Issei exists in an alternate universe in which he is born from the essence of the Shinto Goddess of the Sun and Universe Amaterasu.
