The Learned are a worldwide organization of religious orders, and centers of learning gathered together. They technically operate in secret, as it is against the will of most of the involved faiths for its members to interact with members of other faiths. One of its largest sects, the Seasnakes, were finded by Farson the Fogman, and have moles within the Shadowslayers' Guild, the Slayers' Guild, the Grey Priests, the Anasi-Anasi, Knightly Orders, the Orange, Red, and Green Companies, and are technically the largest part of the Child With Many Names' conspiracy to kill the Shine.
