Lieutenant Paibok was a Klingon engineer that served in the Defense Force in the 2260s. In 2269, Paibok was serving aboard the IKS Klothos when it was deployed to the dilithium mine in Beta Thoridar's asteroid belt. Upon arrival, Paibok was sent to the station to repair the atmospheric dome, while being escorted by Korax. While on the station Paibok argued with the mine's chief engineer, Kly'bn, but Korax was able to end the argument by threatening Kly'bn if he didn't obey Paibok. Soon after, Paibok was attacked when scaling a ladder, but Korax was able to rescue him before any serious harm was done. (ST novella: The Unhappy Ones)
