Several members of the Hallowell Family attended the annual Thanksgiving Blessing in Roanoke in November of 2009. How Augusta and Patience Hallowell relate to the Roanoke Hallowells is currently unknown, but Augusta was the mother of Abraham Thorn, whose ex-wife and daughter still live on the island.
