Dave Killian was a businessman. Founding Killian Arms in 11 ABY, he was offered the position of Hoersch-Kessel Drive in 12 ABY, an offer he accepted. Killian managed to turn the tide, and with several large sales, he brought HKD about. Though still the smallest of the 'big' shipyards, Hoersh-Kessel Drive was once again moving up.
