Mancala for two violins (Polish: "Mancala na dwoje skrzypiec") is a chamber music composed by Marta Ptaszyńska in 1997. It was written for Hanna Lachert and Yaniv Segal, mother and son violinists, of the New York Philharmonic. Mancala for two violins was first performed on April 18, 1997, in New York, USA. Marta Ptaszyńska (b. 1943 Warsaw, Poland) is one of the best known Polish woman composers, a percussionist and a professor of Music and in the Humanities at the University of Chicago since 1998.
