Professor Kahn taught the history of the Mongol Empire. So obsessed was he with the topic that he named his son Temujin Genghis Kahn. The result of this naming was that in 1986, time traveler Lasoporp Rof dropped in on T.G. Kahn, mistaking him for the actual conqueror Genghis Khan. Naturally, T.G. thought that Lasoporp was a student of the Professor, and was playing a prank. When T.G. learned the truth, he considered sending Lasoporp by plane to North Carolina, where the senior Kahn was living at the time. But contact with the elder Kahn was too painful to contemplate, so T.G. found other ways to enlighten Lasoporp on Mongolian culture.
