Aule's Staff (Aule's Staff +3 in-game) is the "basic" Quarterstaff +3 in Baldur's Gate, as the Cleric's Staff is in Baldur's Gate II. It is a heavily enchanted quarterstaff. When it's compared to a normal quarterstaff, it does +3 point more damage, has +3 more THAC0 and speed factor. The staff is also 1 lb. lighter. It's in the Quarterstaff proficiency, except in Baldur's Gate, where it's in the Blunt Weapons proficiency. This item was introduced in Balder's Gatewith the Tales of the Sword Coast expansion.
