Flurries are enemies that originally appeared in Super Mario Bros. 2 in 1986. Flurries are indigionous to icy stages and thus slip and slide, with low traction, as they head towards any threat they detect, which just happens to always be Mario and Co. Like many other SMB2 enemies, Flurries can be picked up and thrown.
